Inspired by Nature

Our story started in 2008. After purchasing a 100 acre unspoiled parcel of forest at the outskirts of the North West end of the famous Algonquin Park, a provincial park in Central Ontario, Canada, we discovered close-up the beauty of the Canadian Boreal Forest with all its flora and fauna. Experiencing the property during different seasons gave us the opportunity to find amazing things to discover and photograph. Fresh moss growing early in the season, the abundance of all kinds of different mushrooms during moist spells, the wide variety of wildflowers, and the myriad of tiny bugs provided a ton of inspiration!

Wanting to recreate nature's beauty inside our home was the starting point for our brand "Wreaths and Sticks". Originally a collection of Canadian cones, twigs, alder and birch poles and mosses, the line now includes handmade pottery and recycled glass vases. We have also expanded our selection to include artificial flowers, plants and greenery - because keeping plants alive indoors during our Canadian winters is not always easy. Our collections will make it easy to make your surroundings beautiful, being it seasonal or just to make you feel better everyday.
